Meet No. 5 of the 2022 season is set for Saturday at Fox Run Golf Course in Yankton, S.D. The Mount Marty Invite will be Concordia's final race prior to the GPAC Championships in November.
In fine performances from both teams, the Concordia men's and women's teams placed in the top three at the Holiday Inn Express Classic hosted by Dordt on Saturday (Oct. 8). Rylee Haecker and Camden Sesna were the top Dawgs.
Following a week off from competition, the Bulldogs will return to action this Saturday at the Holiday Inn Express Classic hosted by Dordt. Running will begin at 10 a.m. CT from the Dordt campus in Sioux Center, Iowa.
A runner-up performance at the Dean White Invitational led to Kylahn Freiberg being named the GPAC Runner of the Week for the second straight time. She has led the 17th-ranked Bulldogs at all three meets this season.
Concordia Cross Country celebrated Dean White Invitational titles for the women's team and for Camden Sesna individually on Saturday (Sept. 24) in Crete. The women won the Dean White meet for the second time in three years.
The Concordia women are back in the NAIA top 25. They landed at No. 17 in the poll released on Thursday (Sept. 22). Meanwhile, the men's team received votes and was listed just outside the top 25.
Leaders of the Bulldog pack through two meets, Kylahn Freiberg and Camden Sesna have made for a Concordia sweep of GPAC Runner of the Week awards. Both Bulldogs shined at the Greeno/Dirksen Invitational.
It was another strong showing for Concordia Cross Country, which outran its NAIA opponents once again on Saturday (Sept. 17). Camden Sesna and Kylahn Freiberg were the frontrunners for the Bulldogs at the Greeno/Dirksen Invite.
Concordia will be one of 35 institutions represented at the Greeno/Dirksen Invitational co-hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan University and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln on Saturday.
A 36th-place overall finish (best among NAIA competitors) at the Augustana Twilight resulted in Camden Sesna being named the GPAC Runner of the Week for the third time in his career. Sesna ran a four-mile personal best.
