A highly-respected leader within the Concordia Women's Tennis program, senior Tessa Blough has been honored with a 2025 All-American Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year distinction.
A spectacular breakout season for many Bulldogs led to a slew of the roster finding their names on the 2024-25 GPAC All-Conference list. CUNE Women’s Tennis had five make the honor roll, with four on the singles all-GPAC team.
Concordia University, Nebraska Women’s Tennis earned its first automatic team bid in the program’s history and learned of the NAIA Women’s Tennis Championships draw on Tuesday.
On Saturday, the Bulldogs claimed their first GPAC tournament title in the history of the program. Nina Milic clinched the fourth and final point in a three-set bout to defeat the Mustangs (4-2).
Concordia University, Nebraska Women’s Tennis defeated College of Saint Mary (4-0) and Doane (4-1) on Friday (April 25) to move on to the GPAC tournament finals.
Four Bulldogs from Concordia Women's Tennis landed on the list of 2024-25 NAIA Scholar-Athletes. The group includes senior Tessa Blough and CSC Academic All-District honoree Mariana Molano.
Concordia University, Nebraska Women’s Tennis earned the third seed in the GPAC tournament and will face No. 6 seed College of Saint Mary in the quarterfinals on Friday.
CUNE Women’s Tennis faced off against NCAA Division 2’s Fort Hays State University (Kan.) and dropped the match (2-5) on Friday. ). Mariana Molano led the Bulldogs with a victory at No. 1 singles.
With second place in the final GPAC regular season standings on the line, the Bulldogs were clipped in a nail-biter, 4-3, by Doane. Prior to the match, Tessa Blough was honored as the program's lone senior.
CUNE Women's Tennis has only two final matches to complete its regular season schedule, and the slate includes Doane for senior day. The two teams will battle it out for the second spot in the conference and a bye in postseason play.
