It was a strong final pre-nationals weekend as three more automatic national qualifying standards were achieved at the UNK Loper Twilight. Those marks came from Erin Painter, Joel Rathe and Gretchen Stottlemyre on Saturday (May 13).
It was a significant Concordia Twilight meet for Bulldog throwers, who posted four new 'A' standards on Friday (May 12). In addition, Lauren Dawson broke her own school record in a meet that included a lightning delay of nearly four hours.
In a phenomenal freshman campaign, Adrianna Rodencal has swept GPAC Women's Indoor and Outdoor Athlete of the Year awards. In addition, 53 Bulldogs earned all-conference awards and Matt Beisel was named GPAC Women's Coach of the Year.

Concordia Women's Track & Field raised the GPAC title banner once again while following the lead of stars such as Rachel Battershell and Adrianna Rodencal. Meanwhile, the men placed third at the 2023 conference outdoor meet hosted by Dordt.
The highlights from day one of the 2023 GPAC outdoor meet included pole vault titles from Josie Puelz and Zach Zohner and some big throws in the hammer. The Bulldogs lead the team scoring for the men and women entering day two.
Following six weeks of outdoor competition, Concordia Track & Field looks ahead to the 2023 GPAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The conference meet will take place at the home track of Dordt in Sioux Center, Iowa.
It was the women's relays that stole the show for the Bulldogs in their final weekend of action prior to the 2023 GPAC outdoor championships. The women's 4x2, 4x4 and 4x8 relays each achieved great heights at the Drake Relays.
In the final week of action prior to the 2023 GPAC outdoor championships, Concordia Track & Field will be represented at the Drake Relays and the Prairie Wolf Invitational. The Bulldogs have totaled nine automatic national marks in 2023.
