Courtney Wright joined the Concordia University, Nebraska undergraduate admissions team in June 2025 after graduating from Concordia with a degree in art therapy. Originally from Perryville, Missouri, she moved to Nebraska to begin her professional journey in a place that already felt like home.
In her role as fine arts recruiter, Wright supports undergraduate recruitment for the university’s art, music and theatre programs. She is passionate about helping prospective students discover their creative potential and find a Christ-centered community where they can grow both artistically and personally.
As a recent graduate, Wright brings a unique perspective to her work. She understands firsthand the value of Concordia’s community and the strong relationships formed here. She chose to continue her time at Concordia because of the meaningful connections she built as a student and the opportunity to foster new ones while continuing to keep Christ at the center of her work and life.
Outside of her role in recruitment, Wright is developing her own work as an artist, blending her interests in art and psychology. She enjoys running, a passion she carried through her time on the cross country and track teams at Concordia, and loves spending time outdoors doing any activity that allows her to be in nature.
