    With the regular season coming to a close, the thrilling win-or-go-home postseason play has arrived. The No. 4 Bulldogs earned a host spot and will face No. 5 seed Briar Cliff on Wednesday (Feb. 25) in the GPAC tournament.

    CUNE Women’s basketball’s six-game win streak was snapped by Hastings inside Lynn Farrell Arena on Saturday (Feb. 21). The Broncos forced 13 first half turnovers and used the double-digit lead to keep the Dawgs at arm’s length.

    The victory train kept chugging as the Bulldogs won their sixth-straight with the triumph over Mount Marty, 75-56, on senior day (Feb. 18). Capitalizing on 36 turnovers, the hungry press didn’t make life easy on the upset-minded Lancers.

    Regular season slate coming to a finish, senior day on Wednesday

    The Bulldogs will welcome Mount Marty and make the trip to Hastings for their final two games of the regular scheduled slate. Coach Drew’s crew defeated CSM, 88-42, and Briar Cliff, 83-77, to continue rolling in a five-game streak.

    Concordia University, Nebraska broke a six-game road losing streak to Briar Cliff, defeating the home team, 83-77, on Saturday (Feb. 14). The Bulldogs made the Chargers regret their 26 turnovers scoring 30 points off the added possessions.

    The Dawgs stifled the College of Saint Mary offense holding the Flames to 10 first half points in the 88-42 wallop on Wednesday (Feb. 11). CUNE’s press feasted muscling out 36 turnovers on 20 steals.

    The Bulldogs roll into the next two contests on a three-game win streak traveling for both bouts this week. Concordia University, Nebraska will hit the road to Omaha and Sioux City to compete against the College of Saint Mary and Briar Cliff.

    Collective press stonewalls Mustangs, Dawgs win third-straight

    The Bulldogs came down on Morningside with a 33-point third quarter fueled by 14 steals that eventually led to an 84-62 route of the visitors on Saturday. CUNE shot 59.1 percent in the stanza and outran the Mustangs to take the 22-point victory.
