In conjunction with the NAIA's release of 2023 indoor national qualifiers, Concordia Track & Field has announced its qualifying roster of 32 Bulldogs. They will be headed to Brookings, S.D., for the 2023 national indoor meet March 2-4.

Matt Beisel was named both 2023 GPAC Women's Indoor Coach of the Year and 2023 NAIA Midwest Region Women’s Coach of the Year on Thursday (Feb. 23). Beisel guided the women's program to an eighth GPAC title in a row.

As announced by the GPAC on Thursday (Feb. 23), Adrianna Rodencal has been named the 2023 GPAC Indoor Women's Athlete of the Year and Matt Beisel the 2023 GPAC Women's Indoor Coach of the Year. In addition, 59 Bulldogs garnered all-conference accolades.

Concordia Women's Track & Field celebrated its eighth-straight GPAC title while hosting the 2023 conference indoor meet. Adrianna Rodencal led the way as the GPAC Athlete of the Meet. Meanwhile, the Bulldog men placed third.

Amy Richert became a conference individual champion for the first time and the Bulldogs racked up 27 team points in the pentathlon as the 2023 GPAC indoor meet got underway. The championships will continue on Saturday from the Fieldhouse.

For their performances at the Concordia Invite, Josie Puelz and Adrianna Rodencal were named GPAC Athletes of the Week on Wednesday (Feb. 15). Both Bulldogs are GPAC event leaders heading into the conference meet.

Following six weekends of indoor competition, Concordia Track & Field is ready to host the 2023 GPAC Indoor Track & Field Championships. The meet will take place Friday and Saturday inside the Fieldhouse.

In a final outing prior to the GPAC Championships, the Bulldogs combined for five new automatic national qualifying standards and 10 event titles while Adrianna Rodencal broke her own school record in the 60 hurdles at the Concordia Invite.

One of the GPAC's top distance runners this indoor season, Calvin Rohde has been chosen as the GPAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week for the second straight time. Rohde moved up to No. 4 in the NAIA in the 1,000 meters.

In what will be home meet No. 4 of the indoor season, the Bulldogs will host athletes from 10 institutions at the Concordia Invite. Coach Matt Beisel's squads will look to add to their season tally of 20 automatic national qualifying standards.
