• Concordia is determined to alter its fortunes this week as it hits the road to play Jamestown and Dakota Wesleyan. The Bulldogs are coming off a challenging home weekend versus Midland and No. 13 Northwestern.

  • Up against the GPAC's highest rated team, the Bulldogs showed some signs of life offensively. However, it wasn't enough to take down fundamentally sound Northwestern. The Red Raiders won by scores of 6-0 and 8-3.

  • It was a tough day on the diamond on Friday (April 7) as the Bulldogs were defeated twice by Midland, 7-0 and 8-1. Warrior pitcher Aliyah Rincon was nearly perfect in the first game of the sweep.

  • The offense is still attempting to get back into gear for the Bulldogs, who combined for only seven hits in Saturday (April 1)'s doubleheader. Visiting Hastings came away with wins by scores of 4-2 and 8-2.

  • A seven-game series win streak over rival Doane fell by the wayside on Tuesday (March 28) in Crete, Neb., where the Bulldogs dropped decisions by scores of 6-2 and 7-5. Concordia stranded the bases loaded to end the second game.

  • Bragging rights within the state will be on the line this week as Concordia Softball looks forward to taking on Doane and Hastings. The Bulldogs (12-13, 1-1 GPAC) are coming off a doubleheader split with Morningside to open league play.

  • Runs were hard to come by on Saturday (March 25) as Concordia and Morningside played two tight low-scoring affairs. The Bulldogs rallied to win game one, 2-1, before falling by a 3-1 score in game two.

  • In its first home action of 2023, Concordia Softball was blanked by visiting Nebraska Wesleyan in losses by scores of 4-0 and 8-0. The Bulldogs had been idle since wrapping up the Tucson Invite on March 10.
