    Softball spring break rundown 2022

On the heels of a 6-2 start, the Concordia Softball team now prepares for trips to Wichita, Kan., and Tucson, Ariz., as part of an intense spring break slate. The Bulldogs are scheduled to play 11 games from March 4 through 11.

  • Julia Van Wey starred at the plate and Megan Eurich and Camry Moore turned in fine pitching performances as the Bulldogs completed a four-game sweep of Mayville State. They won by scores of 8-4 and 3-2 on Sunday (Feb. 27).

  • Camry Moore and Jerzi Rowe earned victories in the circle and the Bulldog bats combined for 23 hits in a doubleheader sweep of Mayville State on Saturday (Feb. 26). Concordia won by scores of 3-2 and 12-2 (five innings).

  • Due to cold and wintry-like conditions in the forecast, the Concordia Softball program has canceled home doubleheaders it had scheduled with Mayville State University (N.D.) this Friday and Saturday.

  • After getting shutout in the first of two at the University of Saint Mary on Monday (Feb. 21), the Bulldogs rebounded with nine hits in game two and split the doubleheader. Jerzi Rowe fired a game in the second contest.

  • Tatum Edwards made her official debut as a head coach on Sunday (Feb. 20) as the Concordia Softball team opened the 2022 season with a doubleheader split at Benedictine. Camry Moore pitched a gem in game one and then went 5-for-5 in game two.

  • At long last, Concordia Softball will open the 2022 season this weekend (Feb. 19-20) while venturing down to Kansas for doubleheaders at the University of Saint Mary and Benedictine College. Tatum Edwards will make her debut as head coach.

  • In the 2022 GPAC Softball Preseason Coaches’ Poll, the Bulldogs garnered one first-place vote and landed at No. 4. Concordia is coming off a season that saw it tie for third in the GPAC and reach the conference postseason championship.
