CUNE Men’s Soccer held off Mid-America Christian University in the first portion of the contest on Saturday. The Evangels capitalized on a couple of mistakes that included a red card and an own goal starting an avalanche in a 5-0 loss.
The 90-plus degree weather didn’t stop CUNE Men’s Soccer from pushing the pace in a heated match with the University of Science and Arts. A high-octane bout from the opening whistle, the Bulldogs fell one score shy in the season opener.
Concordia Men's Soccer will begin the season rated atop the GPAC, according to league coaches. The defending GPAC tournament champions will open the season this week in Oklahoma.
