In lieu of the normal spring practice season, head coach Patrick Daberkow is monitoring progress from afar. Prior to students being sent home, Daberkow observed a physically stronger, more veteran 2020 team.
The Concordia football program has announced its 2020 regular-season schedule. It will feature 10 games (four home, six away), including the season opening nonconference contest at Mayville State.

As of Signing Day 2020, the Concordia football program has secured the pledges of 42 high school seniors from nine states around the country. The initial class includes 14 native Nebraskans.
Lane Napier picked up honorary defensive captain recognition on the Omaha World-Herald's All-Nebraska Team for the second year in a row. Napier was one of 12 Bulldogs to be named All-Nebraska.
After leading the GPAC in tackles for a third year in a row, junior linebacker Lane Napier has been an named honorable mention All-American by the AFCA. Napier collected 108 tackles, including 10.5 for loss in 2019.

Senior defensive end Aaron Rudloff has been named to the Academic All-District® Football Team, as announced on Thursday (Nov. 14) by CoSIDA. The Concordia football program has had an honoree eight years in a row.
A second quarter explosion carried top-ranked Morningside to a 52-7 win over Concordia on Saturday (Nov. 9). The loss put the Bulldogs at 3-7 overall to end the 2019 season. Senior Zac Walter had 13 tackles for Concordia.
On a day when Concordia honored 18 seniors, the game did not go as hoped. The Concordia offense sputtered on third downs and turned the ball over four times. Midland walked away with a 27-7 win.
Dordt controlled the football with its ground game while capitalizing on Concordia miscues on Saturday (Oct. 26) in Sioux Center, Iowa. The Defenders converted six takeaways into a 35-0 victory.
