    Bennett, Bulldog blizzard buries previously unbeaten Dordt

    In a stunningly dominant outing, the Bulldogs hit No. 11 Dordt with a flurry of Brad Bennett treys and won going away, 99-72. Concordia shot 62.3 percent from the floor and held the Defenders well below their season scoring average.

    In perhaps the most dramatic championship game in CIT history, CUNE's Josh Dahlke sank a roughly 35-foot buzzer beater to sink CUW, 83-81, in the 1999 overtime title clash.

    Smith, Stueve lead outburst in takedown of GPAC's stingiest defensive team

    Tristan Smith and Jaxon Stueve combined for 47 points as the Bulldogs blistered the nets in a 95-84 win at the Corn Palace on Thursday (Jan. 2). Stueve rang in the New Year by going 8-for-8 from the floor.

    For his role in Concordia's 89-55 win over MidAmerica Nazarene, sophomore Jaxon Stueve was named the GPAC Defensive Player of the Week. Stueve posted 11 points and four steals in the win.

    In making their first home appearance since Dec. 11, the Bulldogs shot better than 65 percent in the first half and steamrolled their way to an 89-55 win over MidAmerica Nazarene. Logan Wilson dropped in 11 points off the bench.

    The Bulldogs faced their second opponent from the Grand Canyon state, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, on Saturday night. CUNE Men’s Basketball doubled the Eagles in points in the paint to gain a 22-point victory.

    In a major road test, the Bulldogs raced out to a 13-point lead before surrendering an extended run that staked No. 4 Arizona Christian to a 73-65 win on Friday (Dec. 20). Noah Schutte and Zac Kulus starred for Concordia.

    The 1963-64 Bulldog men's basketball team made history by winning the program's first ever CIT championship. The '64 squad, led by CIT MVP Gordon Bredow, set the stage for future CIT success and added to the event's special nature.
