Seven teams will join Concordia for the Concordia Bulldog Duals this Saturday inside Friedrich Arena. The event will feature 16 duals beginning at 10 a.m. CT.
While hosting their 2020-21 home opener, the Bulldogs came up short in a 28-12 loss to visiting Morningside. Concordia won four individual matches, including a significant one by Issiah Burks.
Following three tournaments and two road duals, the Bulldogs will make their first home appearance of 2020-21 when they host Morningside on Thursday. Concordia has won 10-straight GPAC duals.
In tournament action, five Bulldogs combined for ten wins on Saturday (Dec. 5). The event included wrestlers from 11 institutions, including seven GPAC squads.
In the team's first action in more than two weeks, the Bulldogs won eight of 10 matches in a 38-7 dual victory at Midland on Thursday (Dec. 3). Concordia's GPAC dual win streak moved to 10.
After being idle for over two weeks, Concordia returns to action this week. The defending GPAC champions are readying to visit Midland for a dual on Thursday (Dec. 3) before competing in the Doane Open on Saturday (Dec.5).
A day after a GPAC dual win at Dakota Wesleyan, 14 Bulldogs collaborated for 24 wins at the DWU Open. Issiah Burks and Jacob Telles paced Concordia with a combined seven wins.
While taking eight of 10 matches at Dakota Wesleyan on Friday (Nov. 13), the Bulldogs moved their GPAC dual win streak to nine. Concordia toppled the Tigers, 34-6.
Following a sweep of GPAC regular season and tournament titles in 2019-20, the Concordia Wrestling Program has checked in at No. 3 in the initial conference ratings.
After an idle two weeks, the Concordia University wrestling team returns to action this weekend. The defending GPAC champion Bulldogs are readying to visit Dakota Wesleyan for a dual at 6 p.m. CT on Friday (Nov. 13) before competing in the Dakota Wesleyan open on Saturday (Nov.14) at 9 a.m. CT.
