    GPAC women's tennis postseason preview

    Seeded third, the Concordia women's tennis team has aspirations of making a run at a GPAC postseason title. The Bulldogs have not reached the GPAC championship match since 2011.

  • Spurred by Marlene Maier's 16th singles win of the season, the Bulldogs ended the regular season with a 7-2 team victory at Baker on Monday (April 22). Concordia has now equaled a school record for most wins in a season.

    GPAC win streak stretches to five

    An impressive roll in conference play carried on as the Bulldogs flattened Mount Marty, 8-1, on Friday night (April 12). Concordia pushed its win streak to five while staying alive in the hunt for a GPAC regular season title.

  • For the fourth outing in a row, the Concordia women's tennis team dominated. In action at Midland on Tuesday (April 9), the Bulldogs took five of six singles matches and two of three doubles matches for a 7-2 win.

  • Fresh off a 5-4 loss to defending GPAC tournament champion Hastings, the Bulldogs rebounded by blanking Morningside, 9-0, inside the Fieldhouse on Saturday (March 30). Concordia moved to 8-4 overall.

    Maier named GPAC Player of the Week

    The win streak carries on for senior Marlene Maier, who has been a star at the top of the lineup for the Bulldogs. She helped Concordia to a 7-2 win last week over Nebraska Wesleyan.

  • While up against a pair of KCAC foes, the Concordia women's tennis team put up a weekend split. The Bulldogs defeated Sterling College at home before dropping a match against Ottawa University.

  • In its first action since September, the Concordia women's tennis team fell by a 6-3 score at Grand View in Des Moines, Iowa, on Friday (Feb. 8). The Bulldogs are now 1-1 on the 2018-19 campaign.
