
2025 Women’s Tennis GPAC All-Conference Teams
SEWARD, Neb. – A spectacular breakout season for many Bulldogs led to a slew of the roster finding their names on the 2024-25 GPAC All-Conference list. Concordia University, Nebraska Women’s Tennis had five make the honor roll, with four on the singles all-GPAC team. Freshman Ishane Derman, Junior Mariana Molano and sophomore Alexa Richert earned honors in singles and doubles. Sophomore Chakira Derman (singles) and Tessa Blough (doubles) were also honored. Blough, Chakira, Molano and Richert are repeat award winners from last season.

· Tessa Blough (Cody, Wyo.): Doubles
o 2025 GPAC records: 1-1 singles | 6-0 doubles.
· Chakira Derman (Lomé, Togo): Singles
o 2025 GPAC records: 6-0 singles | 2-3 doubles.
· Ishane Derman (Lomé, Togo): Singles / Doubles
o 2025 GPAC records: 5-1 singles | 4-2 doubles.
· Mariana Molano (Bogotá, Colombia): Singles / Doubles
o 2025 GPAC records: 5-1 singles | 4-2 doubles.
· Alexa Richert (Gillette, Wyo.): Singles / Doubles
o 2025 GPAC records: 5-1 singles | 6-0 doubles.
Ishane and Chakira were dominant in singles through their 2024-25 season. Ishane broke the single-season singles win record with 18 (5-1 GPAC), while two-time All-GPAC Chakira went a perfect 6-0 in GPAC play tying the old season record with 17 victories. Ishane and Molano combined for an 8-7 doubles record as a pair. The Colombian two-time conference award honoree won 14 singles matches and was near flawless in GPAC singles (5-1).
A team of Wyoming women, three-time All-GPAC Blough and Richert, combined for a team high 14 wins in doubles and were unbeaten as a duo in the conference (6-0). Two-time All-Conference Richert, a Gillette, Wyo., native bested 14 opponents and went 5-1 in GPAC play.
Head Coach Lisa Hart’s squad finished the 2024-25 season at 17-4 overall (4-2 GPAC). The Bulldogs advanced to the GPAC finals and won the conference tournament title for the first time in the program.
