While competing at the Nebraska Intercollegiate for the first time ever, the Bulldogs carded a 355 on day one. The top three Concordia scores were turned in by Kendra Placke, Lauren Havlat and Mya Nurse.
Nine birdies over two days have put Kendra Placke in the hunt for a conference championship heading into the spring. As a team, the Bulldogs reside in seventh place in the GPAC at the close of the fall.
The Bulldogs opened up GPAC championship action by carding a 351 in round one on Monday (Oct. 4). Led by Kendra Placke, Concordia sits 12 strokes out of second place heading into day two in Vermillion, S.D.
Concordia Women's Golf is getting set for the fall portion of the 2021-22 GPAC Championships. The first two rounds will take place at The Bluffs Golf Course in Vermillion, S.D., Oct. 4-5.
Concordia made a 21-stroke improvement as a team moving from day one to day two at the Prairie Wolves Invite hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan. Seward's own Kendra Placke made a run at a title and placed second.
Kendra Placke is one stroke off the individual lead while the Bulldogs reside in a three-way tie for second place heading into the final round at the Prairie Wolf Invited hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan.
On the strength of a strong front nine, Kendra Placke claimed the fourth tournament title of her collegiate career. As a team, the Bulldogs finished five strokes out of first at the Matthew Goette Classic.
Kendra Placke and Mya Nurse competed closely as the top Bulldogs in a strong close to the Lila Frommelt Invite on Saturday (Sept. 18). Concordia shot a team score of 334 and finished in sixth place.
In its first action in two weeks, the Concordia Women's Golf team carded a score of 360, placing the Bulldogs in eighth out of 12 teams at the Lila Frommelt Invite. The tournament will continue on Saturday (Sept. 18).
In the opening tournament of the 2021-22 season, the Bulldogs placed seventh while being led by Kendra Placke. The Seward native recorded the 21st tournament top 10 finish of her career.
