The fourth ever Concordia Bulldog Invite will take place Tuesday and Wednesday at Highlands Golf Course in Lincoln. The tournament field is set to include 84 golfers from 14 different institutions, including eight from within the GPAC.
In the first event of the spring season, the Bulldogs placed fourth as a team while taking on blustery conditions in Winfield, Kan. Kendra Placke emerged as the highlight for Concordia as she placed in a tie for sixth at the Moundbuilder Invite.
In the first action of the spring for Concordia Women's Golf, the team shot a total of 353 and resides in fourth place heading into the second day of the Moundbuilder Invitational. Kendra Placke and Mya Nurse shot scores in the 80s.
Concordia Women's Golf looks for to a spring 2022 season that will get started with the Southwestern Invitational in late March. The spring rounds for the GPAC Championships will take place at Norfolk Country Club.
Kendra Placke showed she can compete with the top collegiate golfers in the state of Nebraska while placing sixth at the Nebraska Intercollegiate (Oct. 8-9). The Bulldogs finished second as a team.
While competing at the Nebraska Intercollegiate for the first time ever, the Bulldogs carded a 355 on day one. The top three Concordia scores were turned in by Kendra Placke, Lauren Havlat and Mya Nurse.
Nine birdies over two days have put Kendra Placke in the hunt for a conference championship heading into the spring. As a team, the Bulldogs reside in seventh place in the GPAC at the close of the fall.
The Bulldogs opened up GPAC championship action by carding a 351 in round one on Monday (Oct. 4). Led by Kendra Placke, Concordia sits 12 strokes out of second place heading into day two in Vermillion, S.D.
Concordia Women's Golf is getting set for the fall portion of the 2021-22 GPAC Championships. The first two rounds will take place at The Bluffs Golf Course in Vermillion, S.D., Oct. 4-5.
