Concordia University, Nebraska Shooting Sports has finalized a 2026-27 competition schedule featuring nine total events throughout the upcoming academic year.

Event national championships were won by Kaylee Hinton and Katie Welker while both Welker and Devin Harris were named All-Americans. As a team, the Bulldogs placed seventh at the 2026 ACUI National Championships.

A group of 17 Bulldogs will represent Concordia Shooting Sports at the 2026 ACUI Collegiate Clay Target National Championships in San Antonio. The action for the Bulldogs begins on March 17.

Senior Katie Welker starred once again as she won women's HOA and doubles trap titles at the Iowa Western Invite. As a team, the Bulldogs placed third in action that took place in Lincoln.

Eighteen Bulldogs entered the fray in what is believed to be the largest field in the 10-year history of the Concordia Bulldog Sporting Invitational. Concordia placed seventh as a team.

The 10th annual Concordia Sporting Invitational is slated for Feb. 27-28. As part of the event, the Bulldogs will honor three seniors. The Concordia Invite is scheduled to include 173 athletes.
A cattle ranch in a tiny rural South Dakota town served as a backdrop for Katie Welker's upbringing. It was here where she developed a passion that would lead to incredible success on the collegiate shooting sports scene.

The fall season ended on a high note as Concordia Shooting Sports placed second at the SCC Invitational behind individual champions Devin Harris and Katie Welker. Eight Bulldogs cracked at least 250 targets.

A second-straight weekend spent in Grand Island, Neb., finished with Concordia Shooting Sports placing fourth at the Hastings Invite. Katie Welker shot 100 straight in trap as a major highlight.
The expectations are soaring for Concordia shooting sports under the guidance of head coach Scott Moniot. The Bulldogs hope to climb the national ladder after placing fourth at last season's ACUI Championships.
