Prepped at Columbus Lakeview High School … coached by Kurt Frenzen … lettered all four years and started for three … served as a team captain for one year … helped the Vikings win the 2021 Class C1 state championship … twice named first team all-district as a defensive back … tabbed first team all-state by Huskerland Prep … garnered school’s “blue collar” award for hard work and determination … also competed in basketball and track & field for four years … state medalist in the 110 and 300 meter hurdles … collected honorable mention academic all-state honors in football, basketball and track.
