A crew of 17 Bulldogs will be headed to the Atlanta area for the 2024 USA Powerlifting Collegiate Nationals. The Concordia nationals roster includes repeat qualifiers Dax Davis, Kenzie Houser and Rylee Ladd.
In the second competition of the 2023-24 season for Concordia Powerlifting, 15 Bulldogs claimed top-three individual placements at the 2023 Central Collegiate Regional Championships. Four were champions in their weight classes.
Chetek, Wis., native Rylee Ladd starred at the Husker Strong Meet as she was named the Female Best Lifter award. She was one of seven Bulldogs to claim titles within their respective weight classes as the powerlifting season kicked off.
Seven Bulldogs opened the 2023-24 Concordia Weightlifting season at the Heartland Strength Omaha Classic and all seven qualified for the national championships. The event featured roughly 60 athletes on Sept. 16.
