The men's and women's cross country teams were recognized with academic accolades from the USTFCCCA on Jan. 30. In addition, three Bulldogs earned All-Academic Athlete awards.
A group of 22 Bulldogs represented the Concordia Cross Country programs on the list of 2024 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Thirteen Bulldogs are repeat honorees.
In a freshman season that saw Vaughn Hendrickson win the GPAC title, the Fort Wayne, Ind., native added an All-America medal to his list of achievements. He was joined at the national meet by Keegan Beisel and Trey Robertson.

As officially announced by the NAIA on Monday (Nov. 11), three Bulldogs will be headed to the 2024 NAIA Cross Country National Championships. The qualifiers include Keegan Beisel, Vaughn Hendrickson and Trey Robertson.
Vaughn Hendrickson won the GPAC title and Trey Robertson placed second to highlight the 2024 conference meet. The Bulldogs emerged with team placements of third for the men and fourth for the women.
The 2024 GPAC Cross Country Championships will go off on Saturday (Nov. 9) at Mahoney State Park in Ashland, Neb. The Bulldogs placed second on the women's side and third on the men's side at the '23 conference meet.
Vaughn Hendrickson and Trey Robertson again starred for Concordia Cross Country teams that tested themselves against some of the NAIA's best on Saturday (Oct. 26) at the Blazing Tiger Classic.
In a pivotal meet that serves as a precursor to the GPAC Championships, Concordia will take part in the 2024 Blazing Tiger Classic. Both Bulldog teams are receiving votes in the NAIA national polls.
Up against strong GPAC competition like Dordt and Doane, the Bulldogs made improvements as the men's and women's teams placed inside the top four in Sioux Center. Keegan Beisel and Vaughn Hendrickson were the lead Dawgs.
