Posted a 12-11 overall record over six tournaments at 174 ... recorded on technical fall win and pinned four opponents, one of which was at the Buena Vista Open where he took third place.
2016-17: Freshman
Wrestled in the 165/174 weight class ... ended season with a 2-8 record with both wins in the 174 weight class ... won by pin one time.

Prepped at Pasco High School for head coach Mark DeAugustino … lettered and started for three years while serving as team captain for one year … was a two-time district champ, two-time conference finalist, FAWA State Finalist, Kiwanis Finalist and State Qualifier … also played football for nine years and was All-Country, member of the Pasco All-Star Team, lead the team in tackles and serves as team captain … graduated cum laude and was a member of the National Honor Society.
