Kyana Rios and the Concordia University, Nebraska Women’s Soccer squad flexed a superior prowess in the 4-1 victory over Briar Cliff on Saturday afternoon (Sept. 27). The Bulldogs punished the Chargers with 18 shots.

The Bulldogs defeated the College of Saint Mary (3-1) at Heritage Park on Wednesday. Kierstynn Garner rolled out two more goals, including another game winner (21 career) to hit double digits in the 2025 campaign.

Coming into the week with a sour taste from a tie in the GPAC opener, the Bulldogs will refocus towards two more conference opponents, College of Saint Mary and Briar Cliff.

All hope seemed lost as the Bulldogs found themselves down, 3-1, going into the final nine minutes, but Kyana Rios and Kierstynn Garner would not be denied to preserve a draw (3-3) with Northwestern on Saturday.

Like a pack of wild Dawgs, the Seward side launched into aggressive offensive play to shut out York (4-0) on Wednesday. CUNE Women’s Soccer battered every part of the opposing goal with a 28-3 shot advantage.

After having over a week off from the competition field, the Bulldogs will finish off their non-conference run with York University, then dive into conference play versus Northwestern.

Savannah Andrews ripped through the Kansas Wesleyan University defense scoring two goals to push the Bulldogs ahead (3-1) on senior day. The Concordia program celebrated 11 seniors on Saturday.

The Bulldogs and Bruins proved to be worthy opponents as the rivalry ended in a 1-1 draw on Wednesday. Concordia University, Nebraska Women’s Soccer and Bellevue University ended in a tie for the second year in a row.

The competition ramps up for Concordia University, Nebraska Women’s Soccer as it is set to face two non-conference opponents in Bellevue University and Kansas Wesleyan University.

Kierstynn Garner was announced as the first GPAC Offensive Player of the Week of 2025 by the league office on Tuesday (Sept. 2). Garner helped bolster the Bulldogs to two wins over Dakota State and Nebraska Wesleyan.
