In the post-Kendra Placke era, Concordia Women's Golf is banking on the combined improvement of returners such as Logan Eschliman, Lauren Havlat and Mya Nurse and newcomer Emery Custer as it aims to remain a top-five GPAC team.
Concordia Women's Golf has announced a 2022 fall schedule complete with five official events and a unique alumni tournament in September. The Bulldogs will open the season with the Mount Marty Invite in early September.
By way of a third-place conference finish, Kendra Placke has officially been named a 2021-22 All-GPAC honoree. In addition, teammate Lauren Havlat was chosen as an Honorable Mention All-GPAC recipient.
Spurred by Kendra Placke in the final round of her collegiate career, the Bulldogs leapt two spots into fifth place in the now complete GPAC standings. Placke placed third individually while shooting a four-round score of 317.
With three of four rounds complete at the 2021-22 GPAC Women's Golf Championship, the Bulldogs reside in a tie for seventh place. Individually, Kendra Placke has moved into a tie for third place.
Rounds three and four of the 2021-22 GPAC Women's Golf Championship will tee off from Norfolk Country Club on April 25-26. The Bulldogs hope to move up from their seventh-place positioning from the fall.
Make it back-to-back tournament titles and back-to-back GPAC Golfer of the Week awards for Seward's own Kendra Placke. In last week's action, Placke won the Hastings Invite by shooting 77-82–159 (+15).

Kendra Placke earned a tournament championship for the second week in a row while leading a Bulldog squad that tied for first at the Hastings Invite (April 11-12). Via a tiebreaker, Concordia lost out on the team trophy.
Both Kendra Placke individually and the Bulldogs as a team are tournament leaders after day one of the Hastings Invitational. Placke shot a five-over-par 77 on Monday (April 11) for a Concordia squad with a seven-stroke team lead.

Junior Amy Ahlers broke the school record for a single round Friday, Sept. 18 at the Briar Cliff Lila Fromant Invite. Ahlers carded a 71 which is one under par for the course.
