• Three days after pulling off the biggest shocker of the GPAC basketball season, Mount Marty threatened to knock off another top 10 team. However, the ninth-ranked Concordia women’s basketball team rallied back from a 12-point first half deficit for a 60-53 win in Yankton, S.D., on Saturday afternoon. The season sweep of Mount Marty pushes the Bulldogs to 20-5 overall and 12-3 in GPAC contests. The game also marked the 100th career GPAC win for eighth-year head coach Drew Olson.

  • While a CIT hangover may have been cause for Concordia’s slow start on Wednesday, the ninth-ranked Bulldog women’s basketball team rebounded in impressive fashion. Eighth-year head coach Drew Olson’s squad dominated the second half and earned the season sweep of rival Doane with an 83-62 victory inside Walz Arena.

  • A stellar second half performance allowed the third-ranked Bulldog to pull away from No. 17 Northwestern for a 91-76 victory on Wednesday (Jan. 29). Grace Barry and MacKenzie Helman both notched 17 points.

  • After winning the 30th CIT title in program history, the Bulldogs are set to get back to GPAC action while up against two ranked opponents: No. 17 Northwestern (home) and No. 12 Dakota Wesleyan (away).

    CIT reign continues

    The Bulldogs continue to dominate CIT. Saturday's title game was no contest as CUNE blew through Concordia-Wisconsin, 102-47. Grace Barry earned tournament MVP honors.

  • The eighth-ranked Bulldog women’s basketball team ramped up its fullcourt pressure and scored the game’s first 13 points on the way to an impressive 70-50 win over Concordia University Ann Arbor in the Concordia Invitational Tournament title game on Saturday. It’s the 24th CIT title in the history of the Bulldog women’s basketball program – most all time.

  • A Concordia University Wisconsin team not used to losing pushed the eighth-ranked Concordia University Nebraska women’s basketball team to the wire in front of a packed house inside R. John Buuck Field House. Ultimately, the Bulldogs prevailed, 73-60, fueled by a big night for freshman Becky Mueller on Friday’s day one of two at the annual Concordia Invitational Tournament.

  • A game-defining 38-8 run powered the third-ranked Bulldogs to a 74-49 win over Concordia University, Ann Arbor at the 69th annual CIT on Friday (Jan. 24). Grace Barry and Philly Lammers combined for 37 points.

  • Concordia enjoyed a plus-13 turnover margin and shot 14-of-26 from 3-point range in running away from No. 7 Morningside, 85-61, on Wednesday (Jan. 22). Next up for the Bulldogs is CIT in River Forest, Ill.
