Appeared in 33 games and made two starts ... averaged 3.8 points and 3.0 rebounds per game while totaling 32 steals and 16 blocked shots ... shot 36.0 percent from the floor and 31.1 percent from 3-point range ... posted a season high 11 points in a win over Hastings on Jan. 9, 2019 ... collected a season high nine rebounds in the win over College of Saint Mary on Nov. 20, 2018.
High School
Prepped at Elk Point-Jefferson High School (S.D.) for head coach Gary Nebelsick, Elsie lettered all four years and started for three. She served as team captain for two years and earned second team all-conference honors twice and honorable mention all-conference accolades once. Elsie was tabbed second team all-region twice and honorable mention all-region once. She ended career with all-time school rankings of first in blocked shots, second in rebounds, ninth in scoring and 13th in steals. Elsie helped the Huskies to a state runner-up finish and conference and regional championships as a freshman and a state playoff appearance as a sophomore. She competed in track for two years and volleyball for one and was part of 4x400 meter relay that placed fourth at the state meet. She was a participant at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.
Personal
Born in Sioux City, Iowa, on February 7, 2000, she is the daughter of Travis and Janna Aslesen. Elsie has two younger siblings: Sam and Abby and enjoys listening to music, spending time with family and friends, playing with her dogs and being outdoors.
