Prepped at Gibbon High School … coached by Leon Stall … lettered all four years … qualified for three state meets in a combined six events … earned all-conference awards in a five total events … garnered three academic all-state awards … graduated with school top five times/marks in the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles and long jump … lettered all four years in volleyball and collected all-conference, honorable mention all-state and academic all-state awards … lettered four times in basketball and was recognized as first team all-conference and academic all-state (twice) … played American Legion baseball for three years and helped the team to a Mid-Nebraska League championship and a district runner-up claim … class valedictorian … achieved honor roll status all four years … named academic all-state a total of six times … member of National Honor Society.
