Nick Velders continues to cement his legacy as one of the best athletes in Concordia University, Nebraska Men’s Tennis history by adding his second NAIA All-American award in two years.

An NAIA All-American and 2025 GPAC Player of the Year, senior Nick Velders has been honored as an Academic All-District honoree for the second year in a row.

A conference title bid fell short for Concordia University, Nebraska on Saturday (April 25) as it dropped a 4-0 decision to No. 14 Morningside in the GPAC Men’s Tennis Championship at Genesis Westroads.

Concordia University, Nebraska Men’s Tennis will be in the GPAC tournament championship after throttling No. 3 seed Doane, 4-0, in the conference semifinal on Friday (April 24) in the Koch Tennis Center.

The Bulldogs earned the No. 2 seed and a quarterfinal bye with a 4-1 GPAC record in the regular season. Concordia University, Nebraska Men’s Tennis will face the winner of third-seeded Doane and sixth-seeded Mount Marty on Friday.
