A conference title bid fell short for Concordia University, Nebraska on Saturday (April 25) as it dropped a 4-0 decision to No. 14 Morningside in the GPAC Men’s Tennis Championship at Genesis Westroads.

Concordia University, Nebraska Men’s Tennis will be in the GPAC tournament championship after throttling No. 3 seed Doane, 4-0, in the conference semifinal on Friday (April 24) in the Koch Tennis Center.

The Bulldogs earned the No. 2 seed and a quarterfinal bye with a 4-1 GPAC record in the regular season. Concordia University, Nebraska Men’s Tennis will face the winner of third-seeded Doane and sixth-seeded Mount Marty on Friday.

The 2026 CUNE Men’s Tennis team claimed the single-season win record (16) and shut out Doane (7-0) on Thursday (April 16) night. Santiago Abadia clinched the fourth point and Nick Velders completed an undefeated 18-0 regular season

With second place on the line, the Bulldogs have one match remaining in the regular season against in-state Doane on Thursday (April 15). CUNE Men’s Tennis will face the Tigers at the Newburg Held Tennis Complex.

The league office announced the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Tennis Player of the Week on Tuesday (April 14). Leo Lopez was selected for his first career weekly award after going 2-0 in singles and doubles.

Concordia University, Nebraska Men’s Tennis delivered a commanding performance on Sunday (April 12), sweeping Mount Marty University, 7-0, at National Field Archery.

The Bulldogs took down another in-state rival in an unblemished fashion slicing through Midland (7-0) without giving up a single set to snap a losing streak that has been held since 2018 by the Fremont program.

Coming off a split from the past week, the Bulldogs are set to take on Midland and Mount Marty in the coming days. Concordia University, Nebraska Men’s Tennis will host the Warriors on Wednesday.
