
2026 Men’s Tennis GPAC All-Conference Teams
SEWARD, Neb. – Six Bulldogs make the final cut for the 2025-26 GPAC All-Conference honors on Thursday (April 30). Honorees in both doubles and singles this season were Seniors Hugo Fuentes Gomez and Nick Velders along with transfer Daniel Caballeros and freshman Leo Lopez. Sophomore Ben Chisholm and transfer Ognjen Gajic were awarded All-GPAC singles and honorable mention doubles.

· Daniel Caballeros (Guatemala): Singles / Doubles

· Ben Chisholm (Adelaide, Australia): Singles / HM Doubles
o 2026 GPAC records: 2-1 singles | 3-1 doubles.
· Hugo Fuentes (Denia, Spain): Singles / Doubles
o 2026 GPAC records: 2-1 singles | 3-1 doubles.
· Ognjen Gajic (Belgrade, Serbia): Singles / HM Doubles
o 2026 GPAC records: 2-1 singles | 3-1 doubles.
· Leo Lopez (Santa Cruz, Bolivia): Singles / Doubles
o 2026 GPAC records: 4-1 singles | 5-0 doubles.
· Nick Velders (Apeldoorn, The Netherlands): Singles / Doubles
o 2026 GPAC records: 5-0 singles | 4-1 doubles.
Somehow, No. 2 Velders had a more impressive year than last season, with a 19-0 record (5-0 GPAC) tying the singles all-time single season win total he set a year ago (19-2). The second-year transfer also tied the doubles single season wins record with 16. Hugo Fuentes completed his career at No. 1, going 2-1 in singles and 3-1 in doubles.
Daniel Caballeros, a first-year transfer, went unbeaten in conference (5-0) and ended his season with a seven-match winning streak in singles at No. 3. Caballeros and Leo Lopez combined at No. 1s for an unblemished (5-0) conference doubles season. The Guatemalan accomplished a perfect GPAC regular season. No. 4 Lopez, a freshman out of Bolivia, went 16-3 over his first season.
No. 5 Ben Chisholm (12-7 season) and No. 6 Ognjen Gajic (2-1) went 2-1 each in GPAC singles. Chisholm went 14-7 and Gajic finished 10-8 in doubles.
Head Coach Lisa Hart’s squad finished the 2025-26 season at 17-5 overall (4-1 GPAC) breaking the single season win record in the program’s history. The Bulldogs advanced to the GPAC finals but fell to Morningside in the championship.
