The Bulldogs defeated Peru State College, 4-1, but would drop their opening game in the final full inning to MidAmerica Nazarene University, 7-6, on day one of the Top Gun Invite.
Concordia University, Nebraska will take on the University of Saint Mary Top Gun Invite this coming weekend. The Bulldogs are set to compete against six teams in three days at the Mid-America Sports Complex in Shawnee, Kan.
Concordia University, Nebraska defeated Bellevue University to punch out a win (9-4) at the ASB Sports Complex on Monday. The Bulldogs mashed 15 hits taking over in the seventh inning.
The game two clash between the Bulldogs and the 18th-ranked Benedictine College needed nine innings to decide a winner late Sunday night. Aubrey Bruning punched across the game winning run (4-3) with a single to left field.
After eight canceled games, the Concordia University, Nebraska Softball staff scheduled a new slate for this Sunday and Monday. The Bulldogs have agreed to play in Sioux Center against Bellevue University and No. 18 Benedictine College.

The doubleheader versus Ottawa University set for Saturday (Feb. 8) has been canceled due to inclement weather.
After struggling through the first five innings, the Bulldog bats came alive and sparked Concordia Softball to a doubleheader sweep of Culver-Stockton. Grace Maguire produced a walk-off hit and Kylie Shottenkirk doubled four times.
On day one of the 2025 season, Concordia Softball earned a 5-0 win over Mayville State behind the pitching of Kaylei Denison. The Bulldogs then fell by a 4-3 score to NCAA DII Sioux Falls.
No matter the weather, the Bulldogs will open the 2025 season this weekend (Feb. 1-2) with four games at the ASB Sports Complex in Sioux Center. The opponents will be Mayville State, Sioux Falls and Culver-Stockton.
