Concordia hung tough with the top teams at the Midwest Spring National Invite through round one before slipping back to 12th on the final leaderboard. Individually, Drew D'Ercole placed just outside the top 10.
Joined by many top NAIA programs in the region, Concordia Men's Golf concluded day one (two rounds) at the Midwest Spring National Invite in 11th. Drew D'Ercole led the way individually.
Junior Justin Webert made a run at a tournament title while leading the Bulldogs to a third-place team finish at the SCC Spring Invite on Monday (April 1). Webert shot a one-over-par 73.
In battling cold and blustery conditions, Concordia Men's Golf placed third at the Graceland Invite. Individually, Drew D'Ercole shot a 79 and placed fourth while leading a group of five Bulldogs.
Justin Webert went low on Tuesday (March 5) with a career best round of 70 and climbed to seventh on the final individual leaderboard. As a team, the Bulldogs placed ninth while up against a host of NCAA Division II squads.
In resuming the 2023-24 season, Concordia Men's Golf shot a team score of 313 on day one of the Maverick Desert Classic on Monday (March 4). Drew D'Ercole paced the Bulldogs with a two-over-par 74.
A spring break getaway to the Phoenix area will mark the resumption of the 2023-24 season for Concordia Men's Golf. The Bulldogs are slated to play at the Maverick Desert Classic on March 4-5.
The Concordia Men's Golf program has announced its schedule for the spring of 2024. On the docket are six varsity events, including the Mankato Spring Invite that will take place in Goodyear, Ariz., over spring break.
Thanks to his top-five placement at the Nebraska Intercollegiate, Drew D'Ercole earned GPAC Golfer of the Week honors for the second time in his career. D'Ercole leads the team with a 74.0 scoring average this season.
While shooting two-over-par both days, Drew D'Ercole claimed his second top-five tournament finish this season. His medal was the highlight of the Nebraska Intercollegiate, which saw the Bulldogs place seventh as a team.
