Prepped at Mitchell Senior High School … coached by Nick Kuxhausen … was a four-year letter winner and four-year starter … served as a team captain for two years … honors included two-time honorable mention all-state, two-time first team all-district and three-time first team all-conference … helped the Tigers to three state playoff appearances … also competed in track & field for four years, wrestling for two years and basketball for one year … achieved A/B honor roll status all four years.
