Attended Hastings College for three semesters (two seasons of football) … prepped at Kenesaw High School … coached by Craig Schnitzler … lettered and started all four years … served as a team captain for one year … twice named first team all-state Class D by the Lincoln Journal Star and was once named honorable mention all-state (all class) by the Omaha World-Herald … collected four all-district awards … helped the Blue Devils win a Class D2 state championship (13-0 season) … also competed in track & field for four years, trap shooting for four years, basketball for three years and wrestling for one year.
