Prepped at Hill City High School (S.D.) … coached by Joe Noyes and Jared Noyes … lettered all four years … served as a team captain for two years … in cross country, earned four all-region awards, an all-conference honor and made four consecutive state meet appearances … in track, earned top 15 placements on school’s all-time lists for the 800, 1,600, 3,200 and 4x800m relay … part of 4x8 relay that posted state place finishes of 16th and sixth, respectively, and placed 17th in the 3,200 meters … helped cross country team to three regional championships and state place finishes of sixth in 2023 and fourth in 2025 … achieved honor roll status … member of National Honor Society.
