    Bulldogs stunned at home by Broncos

    A rough offensive evening doomed the Bulldogs on Wednesday (Jan. 14) as they were stunned at home by the Broncos, 75-57. Hastings used a 22-0 second half run to pull off the upset.

  • Drives to the paint come with punishment on Saturday (Jan. 10) in a physical defensive grinder between Concordia and Briar Cliff. The Bulldogs shined on the defensive end and won, 72-64.

  • Those who witnessed it may have needed some time to process it. Like prize fighters, Concordia and Morningside traded blows down the stretch before the Mustangs edged the Bulldogs, 91-87, on Wednesday (Jan. 7).

  • A fine week that resulted in three Concordia victories has led to junior guard Brooks Kissinger being named the GPAC Offensive Player of the Week. Kissinger scored 29 points in the win over No. 17 Northwestern.

  • It's a pivotal week of conference play. Both Concordia games this week will involve teams situated inside the top three of the GPAC standings. The Bulldogs ride a four-game win streak into Wednesday's action.
