Prepped at Sidney High School … coached by Austin Lewis … lettered four times and started for three years … served as a team captain for three years … named honorable mention all-state as a junior and senior by the Omaha World-Herald and Lincoln Journal Star … garnered first team all-conference honors … chosen to Nebraska Coaches Association All-Star Game … competed in track & field all four years and was a two-time state qualifier … placed third in the state in both the high jump and as part of the 4x100 meter relay.
