Prepped at Har-Ber High School (Ark.) … coached by Ron Bradley … lettered twice … as a senior, went 8-0 with a 1.64 ERA and 69 strikeouts and was named all-conference and all-state … led the Wildcats to a 2018 state championship and a 2017 state runner up claim … also competed in wrestling, football and hockey … placed seventh at state wrestling at 109 pounds.
