For the second Saturday in a row, Concordia recorded a win over a KCAC opponent. In the latest outing, freshman Elena Ruiz found the back of the net and the keeper duo of Angela Banks and Kalie Ward combined for a shutout.
The Bulldogs hope to defeat another KCAC opponent as they look forward to a Saturday trip to Tabor College. The two programs have met three times since 2018 with Concordia winning two of those matchups.
In the face of adversity, the Bulldogs responded affirmatively. Two key plays in the defensive third turned the momentum and helped carry Concordia to a 3-2 win over Southwestern on Saturday (Aug. 27). Aliyah Aldama produced the game winning goal.
