Bigger and better is expected from Concordia Weightlifting in 2024-25 as the roster grows and Evan Fukuhara returns in defense of his 2024 national title. The roster has increased to 17 members.

Sophomore Evan Fukuhara rose to the top of the podium in his weight class at the North American Open Finals. He finished the event with a total of 256kg while outperforming the field of 27 lifters in the 67kg class in Wilmington, N.C.

Seven Bulldogs opened the 2023-24 Concordia Weightlifting season at the Heartland Strength Omaha Classic and all seven qualified for the national championships. The event featured roughly 60 athletes on Sept. 16.
Concordia Powerlifting heads into year two as a program with a growing, more experienced roster. The group of returning national qualifiers includes Dax Davis, Kenzie Houser and Rylee Ladd. The season officially gets started in early October.
