A pair of upperclassmen standouts from the Concordia Volleyball team have been recognized with GPAC Player of the Week awards. Honors went to Becca Gebhardt and Ashley Keck following two GPAC road wins.

Following two GPAC road wins, fourth-ranked Concordia will return home to host Briar Cliff and Morningside this Friday-Saturday. The Bulldogs will honor a class of six seniors prior to first serve on Saturday.

The work in the back row of the likes of Becca Gebhardt and Ashley Keck helped pave the way for Concordia's four-set win at DWU on Saturday (Oct. 5). The two combined for 57 digs.

The fourth-ranked Bulldogs traveled to Waldorf on Friday (Oct. 4) and dominated the first and third sets while also winning a drawn-out second set battle. Gabi Nordaker starred with 13 kills and six blocks in the victory.

Coming off the five-set battle with No. 1 Northwestern, the fourth-ranked Bulldogs now gear up for their lengthiest road trip of the conference season. Concordia will be at Waldorf and Dakota Wesleyan this weekend.

In a showdown that took place in front of a frenzied Friedrich Arena crowd, the fourth-ranked Bulldogs went toe-to-toe with No. 1 Northwestern. In the end, the Red Raiders outlasted Concordia in five sets.

For the second time this season, No. 4 Concordia will take on a team ranked No. 1. The anticipated matchup with Northwestern is scheduled to get underway at 4 p.m. CT on homecoming Saturday.

In showing its maturity and focus, fourth-ranked Concordia took care of business on Wednesday (Sept. 25). Ava Greene posted seven kills and four Bulldogs in the road sweep of Doane.

A monstrous performance in the win over Hastings resulted in Ashley Keck doubling as the GPAC Attacker and Defender of the Week. Keck posted 21 digs and 17 kills as the Bulldogs moved to 4-0 in the GPAC.
