In making a return to Friedrich Arena, the third-ranked Bulldogs will host College of Saint Mary and No. 20 Midland as GPAC play heats up. Concordia moved to 8-1 with last week's win at Mount Marty.
Four Bulldogs collected at least 10 kills as part of a four-set GPAC road win at Mount Marty on Sept. 4. Concordia outhit the Lancers, 300 to .145, and moved to 8-1 (1-0 GPAC).
A challenging run through nonconference play has concluded for the fourth-ranked Bulldogs, who will be headed to Mount Marty for the opening of GPAC play. Concordia stands at 7-1 with three wins over top 10 opponents.
This looked more like Bulldog Volleyball. Fourth-ranked Concordia bounced back on Aug. 31 with wins over No. 5 Viterbo and Oklahoma Panhandle State while polishing off the CSM Labor Day Classic.
Concordia never found any traction while up against 14th-ranked Bellevue on Friday (Aug. 30) and slipped up for the first time in 2024. The Bruins outhit the Bulldogs, .211 to .083, in Omaha.
The fourth-ranked Bulldogs are riding high following a thrilling weekend in Columbia that included wins over No. 7 Columbia and No. 1 Indiana Wesleyan. The CSM Labor Day Classic is up next.
In quickly turning around following a dramatic five-set win at No. 7 Columbia, fourth-ranked Concordia completed an unbeaten weekend with wins on Aug. 24 over No. 1 Indiana Wesleyan and MidAmerica Nazarene.
In a prolonged matchup between top 10 teams, No. 4 Concordia staged a dramatic rally and edged seventh-ranked Columbia in five sets. Gabi Nordaker produced 11 kills and 10 blocks in a starring effort.
Fresh off a 2-0 weekend at the Bulldog Bash, fourth-ranked Concordia now gears up for its first road trip of the 2024 season. Head Coach Ben Boldt's squad will go up against a pair of top 10 teams this weekend in Columbia.
A successful weekend of Bulldog Bash action saw fourth-ranked Concordia claim two wins in straight sets. On day two of the event, the Bulldogs strengthened their blocking and turned away Oklahoma City.
