Familiar foes will meet inside Friedrich Arena on Wednesday for the GPAC quarterfinals. The second-ranked Bulldogs have aspirations of reaching the GPAC final for the fourth-straight year.

In the hunt for a fourth-straight journey to the GPAC championship match, the second-ranked Bulldogs passed the test in the quarterfinals with a sweep of DWU. Concordia's win streak moved to 11.

The postseason is up next after the second-ranked Bulldogs wrapped up league play at 15-1. Concordia will host Dakota Wesleyan in the GPAC quarterfinal round on Saturday.

Gritty and unflappable, the second-ranked Bulldogs shrugged off a defeat in the opening set and toppled No. 22 Midland in four sets on Tuesday (Nov. 5). Concordia completed the regular season at 15-1 in GPAC play.

The second-ranked Bulldogs will wrap up the 2024 regular season with a visit to No. 22 Midland on Tuesday. Concordia will enter the contest with a shot at a share of the GPAC regular season title.

On the eve of Halloween, the second-ranked Bulldogs were terrifying at the net. They stifled Doane to the tune of 15 blocks and won in straight sets on Wednesday (Oct. 30), moving to 14-1 in the GPAC.

Following wins over Mount Marty and Hastings, Becca Gebhardt and Savannah Shelburne were honored by the GPAC with player of the week awards. Concordia has moved to 20-2 overall (13-1 GPAC).

The third-ranked Bulldogs will play in front of the home fans for the final time this regular season when they host Doane on Wednesday. It will be the lone outing of the week for a team that is 8-0 in the month of October.

It was a disciplined and focused effort that allowed the third-ranked Bulldogs to take care of Hastings in straight sets. In doing so, Concordia moved to 13-1 in league play with two matches left in the regular season.
The 2018 team's best run of volleyball came at the end of the season. That leap forward provided optimism that the program has truly embraced the #champsb4champs moniker. Concordia hopes to use it as a springboard.

A native of Hickman, Neb., Ben Boldt is returning home to become head volleyball coach at Concordia. His wife Angie has also been named an assistant coach on the staff. Ben and Angie previously coached at Hendrix College.
