Concordia volleyball enters this week having won nine of its last 10 matches. Now the Bulldogs face a stretch of nine of 10 contests versus ranked/receiving votes teams.
Concordia came away with two of the three weekly honors handed out by the GPAC on Tuesday (Sept. 20). Bulldog standouts Jocelyn Garcia and Alayna Kavanaugh were the award recipients.
Facing almost certain defeat, the Concordia volleyball team pulled a rabbit out of its hat on Saturday evening inside Walz Arena. The Bulldogs rallied to defeat Morningside in five sets.

The Concordia volleyball program saw its win streak stopped at seven on Saturday as part of the Hastings College Invitational.
Tiegen Skains found added motivation on Friday night (Sept. 9) and powered 13 kills to help lead Concordia volleyball to its sixth-straight win.
Concordia shook off a 14-7 deficit in the third set and stormed back for a four-set road win over Benedictine College on Wednesday. The Bulldogs have won five-straight matches.
Another challenging week lies ahead for Bulldog volleyball. Concordia will attempt to extend its four-match win streak on Wednesday before getting a crack at another top-25 opponent this weekend.
