For the second year in a row, junior Emmie Noyd has garnered second team All-GPAC accolades. The native of Shelby, Neb., led a group of three Bulldogs honored by the GPAC on Wednesday (Nov. 14).
In order for the volleyball season to continue, the Bulldogs needed to pull an upset of fifth-ranked Dordt in the GPAC quarterfinals on Saturday (Nov. 3). They fell short in a 25-12, 25-18, 25-20, defeat.
The margin was razor thin, but a win at Doane and tiebreakers helped the Bulldog volleyball team earn a spot in the GPAC postseason. Concordia now gets set to play at No. 5 Dordt on Saturday.
A win in straight sets at Doane on Wednesday (Oct. 31) kept the season alive for the Bulldog volleyball team. Concordia will head into the postseason with momentum after finishing strong in the regular season.
The Bulldogs still have a shot at qualifying for the conference tournament with one match to go in the regular season. Concordia hopes to avenge a loss from Sept. 18 when it plays at Doane on Wednesday.
The Bulldog volleyball team came up one point shy of stunning 12th-ranked Midland in Fremont on Saturday (Oct. 27). After taking the first two sets, Concordia eventually fell in five.
In terms of home matches, this was it for senior Jenna Habegger. She made it count by flooring 13 kills and helping the Bulldogs to a four-set win over Morningside on Wednesday (Oct. 24).
With the regular season winding down, the Bulldog volleyball team is set to host its home finale on Wednesday. After celebrating its seniors, Concordia will head to 12th-ranked Midland on Saturday.
The Bulldog volleyball team traveled to College of Saint Mary in search of a win that would enhance their chances of a GPAC tournament berth. Instead, the Flames won in straight sets on Wednesday (Oct. 17).
