A cleaner attack and a chance to refocus made the difference for the Bulldogs on Tuesday (Oct. 20). Concordia smoldered in three of the four sets while winning at College of Saint Mary.
After a tough weekend road trip, the Bulldogs have a chance to put it behind them quickly. They will be at College of Saint Mary on Tuesday before hosting matches Friday and Saturday.
In a GPAC pulse pounder on the road, the Bulldogs came up short. Concordia fell in five sets at DWU despite an especially dominant fourth set. Coach Boldt's team is now 7-3 in the GPAC.
In a pivotal matchup of GPAC championship contenders, Concordia fell in straight sets at Jamestown on Friday (Oct. 16). The Bulldogs slipped to 7-2 in the GPAC halfway through a weekend road trip.
The attack heated back up for the Bulldogs, who took two straight-sets decisions over Mount Marty on Tuesday (Oct. 13). Senior Tara Callahan moved past 3,000 career assists.
If all goes as planned, this will be the busiest week yet this season for Concordia Volleyball. The Bulldogs are slated to host Mount Marty for two matches on Tuesday before hitting the road this weekend.
Kalee Wiltfong nearly reached a career high in kills, but the Bulldogs were not sharp enough on the attack while falling to Northwestern in four sets (first loss of 2020) on Saturday (Oct. 10).
