The third-ranked Bulldogs remain in the hunt for a GPAC title with four matches remaining in the regular season. Perfect in October (6-0), Concordia will take on Mount Marty and Hastings in this week's action.
It took grit from the back row as the third-ranked Bulldogs found a way to get the job done at Dordt in five sets. Becca Gebhardt notched 19 digs and reached a career milestone as Concordia improved to 11-1 in GPAC play.
In a competitive straight sets clash with CSM, the third-ranked Bulldogs leaned upon their attacking prowess in claiming victory. Addie Kirkegaard notched a career high 15 kills as Concordia stayed unbeaten in GPAC road matches.
The fourth-ranked Bulldogs will follow two home wins with road trips this week to Omaha and Sioux Center. Concordia (16-2, 9-1 GPAC) remains in second place in the GPAC standings.
Once the emotions of senior day wore off, the fourth-ranked Concordia Volleyball team returned to form and defeated visiting Morningside in four sets. Six seniors were honored prior to first serve.
Eighteen Bulldogs saw action and Maddie Paulsen returned to the court for the first time in 2024 as the fourth-ranked Bulldogs defeated Briar Cliff in straight sets on Friday (Oct. 11).
A pair of upperclassmen standouts from the Concordia Volleyball team have been recognized with GPAC Player of the Week awards. Honors went to Becca Gebhardt and Ashley Keck following two GPAC road wins.
Following two GPAC road wins, fourth-ranked Concordia will return home to host Briar Cliff and Morningside this Friday-Saturday. The Bulldogs will honor a class of six seniors prior to first serve on Saturday.
The work in the back row of the likes of Becca Gebhardt and Ashley Keck helped pave the way for Concordia's four-set win at DWU on Saturday (Oct. 5). The two combined for 57 digs.
The fourth-ranked Bulldogs traveled to Waldorf on Friday (Oct. 4) and dominated the first and third sets while also winning a drawn-out second set battle. Gabi Nordaker starred with 13 kills and six blocks in the victory.
