Prepped at Elm Creek Public Schools for head coach Mike Ford … lettered and started in basketball all four years at the varsity level … served as team captain for four years … named Kearney Hub all-territory basketball player of the year in 2016-17 … chosen as a first team all-conference basketball player all four years … broke five school basketball records … in track and field, earned the title of Nebraska all class long jump champion three-straight years (2016, 2017, 2018) … won back-to-back state titles (2017, 2018) in the 300 low hurdles and set the school record in the event … set the long jump state record in 2017 … helped the 4x100 meter relay break the school record … led Elm Creek to two conference titles and a district championship … also competed in volleyball for three years and cross country for one … earned academic all-state in the sports of basketball, track and field, volleyball and cross country, in addition to academic all-state recognition in speech … member of the National Honor Society … appeared on the honor roll all four years.
