Entering an instrumental weekend, the Concordia Softball team competed against Jamestown on Friday (Apr. 12) in the first of three doubleheaders in four days. The Dawgs offensive prowess caught fire and surged the home squad to a sweep over the Jimmies.
Concordia has a full weekend ahead of them after a six day break between games. The Bulldogs will play three doubleheaders in four days against Jamestown (Friday), Dakota Wesleyan (Saturday) and College of Saint Mary (Monday).
The pitching arm of Megan Eurich kept Concordia close with No. 11 Northwestern, but the lack of offensive production continues to plague the Bulldogs. They fell by scores of 2-0 and 4-0 in Orange City on Friday (April 5).

In the community and on the diamond, the 2017-18 Concordia softball team is working to uphold a winning culture. The results so far this fall have been promising for a youthful squad led by captain Leah Kalkwarf.
