Diana Mendoza and Maddie Fousek both pitched in walk-off base hits as Concordia swept a GPAC doubleheader from visiting Hastings on Tuesday night.
The Concordia softball team has a busy schedule this upcoming week. The Bulldogs will compete in five double-headers in six days starting with a home conference matchup against Hastings.
Concordia opened its 2016 home schedule on Saturday by splitting a doubleheader with Briar Cliff. Michaela Woodward delivered a walk-off single in the 5-4 game 1 win.

After a hot Arizona road trip, Concordia returned to the diamond and split a doubleheader at Bethany College on Wednesday. Kylie Harpst keyed the game 1 win with a two-run triple in the seventh.
Following a big-time performance at the Tucson Invitational, sophomore third baseman Autumn Owens has been named the GPAC player of the week. She is hitting .477 with four home runs this season.
