Coming off a 34-14 season in 2017, the Bulldogs have landed at No. 2 in the 2018 GPAC Softball Preseason Coaches’ Poll. Head coach Todd LaVelle's squad also received votes in the NAIA national poll.

Two Bulldogs represented head coach Todd LaVelle’s softball program on the list of 2017 NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Junior Elizabeth Plasek and senior Megan Ruppert garnered Scholar-Athlete recognition.
