One of the GPAC's top offensive teams struggled to get much of anything going in Tuesday's (April 10) doubleheader at Morningside. The host Mustangs won by scores of 8-0 and 5-1.

Concordia will enter a showdown at Morningside on Tuesday riding a four-game conference win streak. The Bulldogs got strong pitching performances once again while sweeping Briar Cliff.

The Bulldog softball team is scheduled to be in action four separate days this week as the GPAC grind continues. Concordia will host both Briar Cliff and Dakota Wesleyan and visit Morningside and Doane.

Grace Bernhardt and Brittany Woolridge teamed up to quiet the Bronco bats in a doubleheader sweep of Hastings on Thursday (April 5). Mackinsey Schmidt went 4-for-7 at the plate.

The Bulldogs are hoping weather will cooperate on Thursday for a home GPAC doubleheader with Hastings. Concordia is also scheduled to head to Morningside for two games on Saturday.

Despite a 6-for-8 performance that included a pair of home runs by freshman Hhana Haro, the Bulldogs dropped a pair of one-run games at Northwestern on Wednesday (March 28). Haro leads the GPAC in batting average.

Concordia's potent offense will be put to the test by Northwestern's stellar pitching staff in Thursday's GPAC doubleheader. Due to inclement weather, the Bulldogs have played only once since March 14.

The scheduled Saturday (March 24) doubleheader between Concordia and Briar Cliff has been postponed. A makeup date has yet to be determined.

While sitting at 2-6 in league play (12-20 overall) in early April, the Bulldogs faced a crossroads in their 2024 season. The Bulldogs responded by winning 10 of their next 11 games in a surge that gave the program a jolt heading into 2025.
